Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Threat Intelligence Analyst who will be responsible for the proactive identification of threats and supporting management of significant events and incidents, that pose potential or actual risk to business operations. The ideal candidate will provide awareness, analysis indications, and warnings of potential events involving fraud, physical security, technology, and other incidents within the scope of the program.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor for potential and actual significant events that might lead to disruption of business operations.
- Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
- Analyzes and integrates information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis, and/or streamlined reporting.
- Identifies intelligence of significance, and determines impact, urgency, and audience to whom prevention, detection, mitigation and remediation guidance would be most beneficial.
Desired Skill Set:
- 2 – 4 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in threat intelligence, geopolitical analysis, security research, or other security functions is strongly preferred.
- Ability to review information to determine its significance, validate its accuracy, and assess its reliability to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work independently with little oversight.
