Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Technical Analyst – Communication Surveillance who will be responsible for ensuring the effective adoption and utilization of communication surveillance applications. This person will configure and support these applications, train end-users, and collaborate with business and technology teams to manage risk and maintain data quality—all while ensuring compliance with service level agreements and cybersecurity standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support to end-users to ensure the successful adoption and efficient use of surveillance applications.
- Configure applications to meet business requirements and ensure data quality and completeness.
- Train end-users on application usage and how to interpret the data generated.
- Liaise with other business and technology teams to assess, assign, and follow up on risks identified during communication reviews.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of data strategy, governance, and integration principles.
- Prepare metrics and reports to evaluate the effectiveness of the communication surveillance program.
- Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are maintained.
- Troubleshoot issues using standard tools and procedures, escalating when necessary.
- Execute scheduled maintenance routines in accordance with established procedures.
- Document procedures, architectural blueprints, and testing methodologies.
- Apply basic cybersecurity knowledge to safeguard communication platforms.
Desired Skill-Set:
- 2 to 4 years of relevant Communication Surveillance experience
- Experience with cloud technologies and architectures
- Experience with various electronic communication platforms and data types
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in Compliance Technology at a large global bank
- Familiarity with vendor solutions such as Behavox, Smarsh, Global Relay, Theta Lake, and Mobius
- Experience with analytical concepts (e.g., databases, indexes, lexicons, scenarios, and models)
- Experience with minor scripting on data types and interfaces (e.g., XML, CSV, EML, API)
