Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Sr. Manager (Java/ Microservices).
Responsibilities:
- No hands-on development required
- Overseeing resource management and day-to-day project activities
- Conducting performance reviews and managing team growth
- Approving vacations and leaves for team members
- Providing low-level and high-level design guidance
- Ensuring smooth project execution and collaboration across teams
Desired Skill Set:
- Strong experience in Java (11, 13), Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
- Expertise in heavy multithreading and concurrent processing
- Cloud exposure (CIBC uses Azure, but general cloud knowledge is sufficient)
- Understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration
