Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Senior Business Systems Analyst- Interest Rate Derivatives who will support end-to-end project implementation and act as a subject matter expert in both business and technology. This candidate will deate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and build flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding and Documenting Requirements – Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Solution Design – Build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
- Understanding of Derivative products valuations – Strong knowledge of financial derivatives valuation and what risk factors are attributed. Familiar with modeling different product types including Equities, Commodities, Interest Rates, FX, Bonds, etc.
Desired Skill Set:
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Strong derivatives experience with a particular focus on interest rates.
- FO facing experience
- Risk and PnL systems knowledge, as well as trade lifecycle.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to solicit requirements and solve problems/solutions.
Nice To Have:
- Technical skills are key here. Python on their end is always valued.
- Data analytics team is growing, and they work a lot with them too.
- Solid experience with Excel and SQL.
- Domain experience is the most important.
- Technical cross-functional skills are a big value add.
- Hands-on commodities project experience.
