Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Project Manager – Learning and Development who will lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of high complexity learning projects. You will partner with business leaders, Learning Solutions Architects, vendors, and the broader L&D team to design, develop, and implement innovative, multi-modal blended learning solutions that drive business priorities and support people strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of high complexity L&D projects and programs.
  • Collaborate with business-specific Learning Solutions Architects, vendors, and stakeholders to define project objectives and requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement strategies using key project management assets such as charters, project schedules, and risk management plans.
  • Manage the project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.
  • Facilitate requirement gathering sessions, and translate business needs into actionable project plans.
  • Oversee vendor engagement and onboarding processes for third-party learning partners.
  • Support the development and delivery of various learning formats including virtual classrooms, eLearning, webinars, self-led pathways, and workshops.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and work with ambiguity while maintaining a strong agile mindset.
  • Provide regular project updates, and generate detailed project artifacts to track progress and performance.
  • Address and resolve project challenges by leveraging your strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Mentor and hold team members accountable to achieve project deliverables and ensure successful outcomes.

Desired Skill-Set:

  • 7 years of project management experience, preferably in a learning or adult training environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing projects in Agile (SAFe SCRUM) and/or hybrid Agile/Waterfall frameworks
  • PMP certification, along with SCRUM and Agile certifications.
  • 7 years of proficiency with MS Project
  • In-depth experience in learning and development projects, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles
  • Proven ability to manage large projects and delegate responsibilities effectively
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong client focus, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independently
  • Experience facilitating team meetings in virtual environments using collaboration tools like Adobe Connect, MS Teams, and SharePoint

Nice to Have:

  • Experience managing corporate training or L&D projects in a banking environment
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA
  • A demonstrated ability to pivot and adapt to changing priorities
