Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Power BI Developer who will understands and articulates the business case of business questions and the estimated value being delivered. Designs dashboards and analyses to be performed, and appropriate visualization and analytics tools to use. Identifies trends and patterns to address identified business questions and provide insights through reporting and data visualization techniques. This candidate will work with other data and analytics professionals to optimize, refine, automate, and scale analysis into repeatable analytics solutions and decision support tools.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to resolve inquiries and provide timely guidance
- Lead the creation of quality report construction; collaborate with partners, develop & document processes and keep stakeholders current on changes
- Support the inquiries of client’s FinOps colleagues
- Ensure data accuracy while managing exceptions and working with partners to resolve issues
- Foster effective relationships with peers, technology partners and subject matter experts
- Implement process & performance improvements where appropriate; support knowledge transfer throughout FinOps
Desired Skill Set:
- 3 years of experience building Power BI reports and Power Automate flows to support reports
- 3 years of experience with Data sources which can be ingested into Power BI, including SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, etc
- 3 years of working knowledge of Excel ETL features such as Power Query
- 3 years of hands-on experience with MS Office Applications
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to review and organize large amounts of data
