Lead Java API Developer/Banking

Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Lead Java API Developer/Banking who will be responsible for low-level design using UML, coding and compliance quality thresholds.
Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement as a change agent, engaging stakeholders to identify business problems and create scalable solutions that adapt the Agile process and drive productivity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ability to lead, plan, execute and evaluate project activities to ensure completion of initiatives, contributing to the team’s direction and function, providing advice to the team and delivering leadership.
- Supports an environment where the team freely escalates challenges; facilitates change through positive reinforcement of successes.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions.
- Demonstrates adaptability, flexibility, and creativity in their approach to stakeholder engagement and work to support the Agile transformation agenda.
Desired Skill Set:
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience with Java 8 and Spring boot- 2x; 3x-
- 8-10 years of expertise in security in SpringBoot (Spring Security)
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience with API connectivity in spring boot (Spring API)
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Viewstate management- SpringBoot state machine
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Containerization- not necessarily red hat, – Docker or OCP (OpenShift, containers)
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience LLD; is must – class level interactions- UML component.
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Streams, Lambda expressions
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in design patterns (Singleton is already being offered)
- Solid understanding of Docker, Red hat, OCP containers, log, multithreading, data structures, Splunk
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud but they are not hosting any code
