L&D Designer/Admin

Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a L&D Designer/Admin who will be supporting Learning and Development (L&D) Pod on the execution of Portfolio initiatives and learning solutions for LOB-specific initiatives. This candidate will be involved in the development and execution of an evaluation and measurement plan (e.g., budgeting, workshop audience analysis, attendance, readiness assessments scores and business metrics utilizing strong Excel and BA skills) as part of program deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Support design & development team is accessing, capturing, and storing system screenshots to support a seamless and timely process (eg., knowledge of Articulate Rise, Storyline 360)
- Support L&D Pod in the deployment of key large-scale programs; specifically in the program components (i.e., participant selection, vendor consultations, partnering with LOB Practice Management teams, and POD leads to support learners' experience, enrolments, managing learner attendance records, etc.)
- Develop a consistent approach to storing/organizing assets and distributing emails to allow related parties to get familiar with the project and its expectations.
- Identify and flag any risks to project deliverables and execution plan for escalation to Senior LSA.
- Manage and monitor Learning mailbox related to L&D planning, learner inquiries and follow-ups.
- Interact with internal/external partners, organize meetings (e.g., documentation of meeting minutes, following up on actions required by L&D partners, Centre of Excellence (COE), Practice Management)
- Oversight and submission of intakes that will engage COE and partners in support of the L&D project plan. (e.g., Intakes to engage the LMS team, HR DAR, Business Management, Program Support, SSG/ Vendor Management and Delivery), as recommended by Senior LSA
- Manage ad-hoc business-required LMS requests, as appropriate. Collaborate with LMS analysts and business course owners to define and obtain approval of LMS specification documents in prep for launch.
- Manage budget tracking (forecast vs. actual) for the L&D program; facilitate budget tracking meetings to monitor status and progress.
- Support problem resolution of daily escalations re: course exemptions, and course functionality issues within the portfolio learning curriculum. Liaise with stakeholders in L&D COE teams to resolve.
Desired Skill Set:
- 3 years of experience as a Learning Specialist
- 3 years of Strong Excel background/Foundational BA exp.
- 3 years of expertise in Articulate Rise and Storyline 360
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- 3 years of L&D experience in Systems Training
- 3 years of strong administrative experience
