Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for an Event Coordinator (Banking) who will be responsible for assisting Senior Wealth Event Planners with the development and execution of events to meet client’s Wealth Management businesses / client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Building registration sites and managing attendance lists
- Managing hotel rooming lists
- Venue/vendor sourcing, contracting and negotiations based on specified budgets
- Compiling data on post-program surveys and development of post-program feedback summaries
- Working with project team members to assist with the administration of various departmental initiatives
- Researching opportunities to maximize the experience, budget and technologies used
- Assist with the packing and shipping of materials and ordering supplies
- Processing invoice payments
- Providing other administrative support as required to assist Senior Event Planners in preparing and planning for events
- Provide onsite support for client’s Wealth business and client events to assist with room set up, registration desk and other onsite support responsibilities.
- Strong commitment to providing superior service to our client’s Business Partners.
- Ability to cultivate and work closely with Wealth business partners (at all management levels) (Commercial, Securities, CAPA,) external vendors (ex. AV providers, hotels, gifting vendors etc…) and community partners.
- Work collaboratively on multiple events at the same time, with several different team members.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate well and share responsibilities with co-workers.
Desired Skill Set:
- 2 years of proven experience in Project Administration
- 2 years of strong expertise in Event Management/registration software such as SurveyMonkey, Cvent, Fluid, etc
- 2 years of experience planning multi-day conferences, large social events
- Initiative-taking individual with a proven track record of delivering results with a can-do approach
- Demonstrated track record of creative problem-solving & solution development3
- Ability to travel as required
- 2 years of hands-on experience with MS Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent Communication – written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize with excellent time management skills
- Exceptional relationship-building, management and negotiation skills
