BSA/BA with SQL, Python and JSON

Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a BSA/BA with SQL, Python and JSON. The successful candidate is someone who has a solid understanding of financial products transacted in global capital markets and has a passion for data. The candidate will be expected to clearly understand the business asks to be implemented by leveraging a combination of direct business inquiry, negotiation, and independent analysis to formulate the technical requirements needed to streamline BAU processes and build new capabilities for liquidity risk management. The candidate will be expected to interact with a variety of groups and build strong relationships with colleagues across business and infrastructure groups to help meet project objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Eliciting business requirements from stakeholders and turning these into data/technical requirements for further implementation by technology groups.
- Independently analyze data currently available for consumption from central repositories and flag gaps requiring further resolution and/or enhancements. Articulate findings to relevant business and technology groups and recommend the next steps in the implementation cycle.
- Identifying and escalating issues to the appropriate individual(s)/group(s) to ensure prompt attention/resolution.
- Use negotiation and influencing skills to build consensus amongst diverse stakeholder groups to ensure deliverables are met by agreed upon timelines.
- Maintain clear project documentation required to stay in compliance with Change Delivery methodologies followed by the organization.
Desired Skill Set:
- 5 years of strong experience in Business requirement gathering, analysis, business process modeling and documentation.
- 5 years of experience in SQL and Python – high volume of datasets
- 5 years of experience with JSON
- 5 years of experience with project management tools, project management methodologies and best practices
- 5 years of strong knowledge of Data Sets for Financial products
- 5 years of proficiency in Advanced Excel
