Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for an Investment Advisor/Analyst – Capital Market who will be responsible for providing end-to-end support for the client's mutual funds, ETFs, segregated funds, term investments, and savings products for internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will deliver operational processes and provide after-sales support to the personal wealth and asset management businesses and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have areas of operational expertise include Broker/Dealer and Private Bank support, Asset Management, Investment Funds, and Life Insurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between vendors and investment advisors
  • Provide security maintenance and update for equities, fixed income and private companies.
  • Analyze data to perform day-to-day price variance reports for securities.
  • Design, develop, and implement innovative analytical solutions to improve client reporting.
  • Produce regular reports as required.
  • Monitor and update of spots rates as per client requirements.
  • Gather and format data into regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
  • Support change management of varying scope and type; tasks typically focused on execution and sustainment activities.
  • May function as a problem-solving resource for more junior staff.
  • Organize work information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Execute routine tasks such as service requests, transactions, queries, etc. within relevant service level agreements.
  • Provide accurate and timely processing of transactions, activities, services, etc. to respond to stakeholder requests in compliance with regulatory and risk controls.
  • Provide accurate, consistent, and knowledgeable responses to internal/external stakeholder questions and requests.
  • Follow documented policies and procedures to execute day-to-day transactions, activities, processes and meet all Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor team mailboxes.
  • Monitor the Missing Price Report, handling missing price inquiries, and correcting missed or incorrect prices.
  • Security & GAC set ups.
  • Equity set ups for private placements.

Desired Skill-Set:

  • Knowledge on vendor sources like Bloomberg, Eikon and Fundserv.
  • Knowledge on Capital market products (Equities, Derivatives and Fixed income securities).
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, time management skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel functionality.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Broadridge(ADP) and FIS (Global Plus).
