Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a HelpDesk Support- Banking who will be developing a larger virtual desktop experience. This role will involve onboarding and offboarding users to Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI) and evaluation of and integration with modern endpoint management tools. It will also require some familiarity with platform system internals and root-cause analysis. The candidate will also work with internal support areas, business technical support teams, and external vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • On-boarding and off-boarding users to the virtual Desktop platform (VDI). 
  • Review and monitor VDI performance and access issues using Enterprise-wide performance systems and tools. 
  • Identify user requirements in conjunction with desktop and vendor teams to improve performance in any areas identified.
  • Assess and review monthly usage and ensure the technologies are not providing overlapping capabilities and driving cost reductions.
  • Provide 1st level consultation requests and support.

Desired Skill Set:

  • 2 years of experience as an IT Support 
  • 2 years of experience with Citrix and virtual desktop usage, performance and issue analysis tooling and framework
  • 2 years of proficiency in Excel
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, particularly Windows 10/11
  • 2 years of experience with MS Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)

Nice To Have:

  • Knowledge of Active Directory, ADFS, Azure AD
  • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Build Automation
  • Experience with NextThink 
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow
